Mission Statement

The Mission of the Face-UP! Project is:

To create an environment free of discrimination through accurate, balanced, and sensitive understanding of persons who deal with craniofacial differences and their inherent issues.

Face-UP monitors all facets of the media for portrayals of persons with craniofacial differences, and related subject matter for sensitivity and accuracy; and if necessary contacts those responsible that are worthy of praise or criticism.

Face-UP will find way to recognize achievements of individuals for their efforts in presenting a balanced and sensitive image of persons who are born with or who acquire craniofacial differences.
