Garrett

Garrett was born on April 24, 2000 at 7:24 p.m. He weighed 9.3 pounds and was 21-1/2" long. Garrett was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. Garrett's cleft was visible by ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation so we were ready and waiting for our new addition to our family. Garrett's pictures are presented to you by his proud parents, Paul & Patsy and his big sister Madison. Enjoy our sweetie boy!

Garrett - 4 days old. Oh boy, this must be what they are talking about when they say "sleeping like a baby!".

8 weeks old. Look how he can hold his head up!

Garrett had his first surgery to repair his lip and nose.

Daddy and Garrett. It was so difficult to see our sweetie boy so helpless, but now we know...it's harder on mommy & daddy than it is the baby!!

(Right) Garrett (3-1/2 months) the day he got his stitches removed and the day he got his nasal stint put in. See the tape? We use it to keep his stint in -- boy is it a pain!
