Last Time Around!

Finally, at the age of 19, Geoffrey goes in for his last cleft related surgery - a lip revision and rhinoplasty. He had just finished his freshman year in college.

The day after surgery, Geoffrey was wolfing down lo mein at a Thai restaurant. Two weeks later, he went to work as a camp counselor for five weeks.

Then, on July 16, 1996, he went in for his post-op visit- his last "official" visit with the plastic surgeon he has been working with since he was 6 days old. He was strongly encouraged to come back and just make friendly visits though!

She was right there for us on the last visit just like she was on the first one on April 11, 1978.

(She didn't carry him around this time though like she did then.)

 

Graduation Day!
