Jacob has a Bone Graft - Part 1

A step-by-step from Mom's point of view

Preparations the night before. His bag is packed and his Nite-nite pillow (his special comfort) is tucked under his arm.

Ready for the hospital tomorrow, 5:00 AM.

Practicing a little CYA! Those back-out hospital gowns leave something to be desired! (And here we thought he brought his special pillow for comfort!)

Sitting in his hospital bed, waiting for the gurney. Awfully wide awake for so early in the morning, and still without breakfast.

"Do what you must, lady, but you are NOT going to see my butt!"

And away he goes. Bye, Bye, my little one. He's behind the Big Doors now, and we go to the little room, waiting. (Please take care of my baby.)

Just over two hours later, my boy is brought back to me. The surgery is over - the healing begins.

Jacob slept from the anesthesia for 10 hours!!

But the vitals are vitally important - with or without him!

You've seen the hard part - now see Jacob wake up and go home!
