The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
by C.S Lewis
This story is about four children who go inside a magic wardrobe, and then land in the land of Narnia. Narnia is filled with fauns, giants, talking beavers, talking trees and other strange creatures too. But the most wonderful creature in Narnia is Asland - who is a talking Lion, and is the king of Narnia. The White witch is bad. She makes Narnia always winter and never Christmas. The four children save Narnia by gaining the four thrones of Cairparaval.
I like this book because it is filled with wonderful adventures, wonderful animals, and good lessons. It is one of seven books by C S Lewis.

Attack of the Mutant
By RL Stein
This story is about a girl who investigates a creepy place that she sees from her bus. The creepy place has a mutant inside, with a blue suit on with a cape. She gets trapped by the mutant and a great and scary adventure happens when she tries to escape. She has to use all of her guts to stand up to the mutant if she is going to be saved in the end of the story.
I though this book was very good because it was scary and exciting. This is a GooseBumps book and those are always very scary stories.
