Kat is a tireless worker behind the scenes.  It is Kat's expertise that helps maintain this website in ways too numerous to name.  Kat also is the keeper of the Wide Smiles Gallery.

Lisa Hellwig:


Lisa is the volunteer keeper of our adult sections. (oh my!)  Actually, there is nothing scandalous about it.  Lisa maintains the Journey sections, giving cleft-affected adults a chance to get to know other cleft-affected adults and share common issues and concerns.

Marti Anderson:
Marti's tireless efforts at surfing and skimming the web have uncovered a cornucopia of links that make life easier, more rewarding, or maybe just more fun in the Fun and Useful Links section of this webpage.

Bonnie Olson:

Bonnie and son, Griffin (UCLP)
Bonnie helps out in so many ways, serving on a variety of committees, and maintaining the surgery/arrival list for Cleft-talk.

Chris May:
Our fellow, Chris is the chat master for Wide Smiles, maintaining the IRC chat room, (#widesmiles on chatnet) and providing training for IRC ops.  He is our K9 top dog!!

Debra Welch:

Deb is the tireless, relentless, fundraising coordinator for Wide Smiles.  She is always busy with a number of various projects, all designed to keep this resource around for a very long time.

Jacob and  Joey Green:

These pre-teen brothers are the keepers of the Kidz club.  They maintain the Kidz Club, which provides an opportunity for other cleft-affected kids, and siblings of cleft-affected kids to get to know each other and to share issues and insights with one another.

Beth Kaeser:
Beth is our Insurance consultant. She offers her insights into the world of insurance and HMO.  Her advice and her expertise has been a life-saver for many a Wide Smiles family.

Michelle Cruse:
Michelle did the wonderful job of creating and maintaining the PRS page in our "Rare Syndromes and Other Conditions" pages.  Many thanks to her for also maintaining that site.

Dr. John Canady:

Dr. Canady is the medical/surgical consultant to Wide Smiles.  He offers answers to puzzling questions, and he monitors cleft-talk to ensure reliable and accurate information.  Dr. Canady offers his expertise on our live-time Question and Answer chats on IRC.

Joanne Green:

The Founding Director of Wide Smiles, Joanne is the listowner of the Cleft-talk mailing list, the current webmaster of this website, the ringmaster of the Circle of Smiles webring, and the editor of Wide Smiles Magazine.
